Hi Roy,

The ExxonMobil-Qatar Petroleum LNG carriers are equipped with reliquefaction facilities on-board that allows any boil off to be reliquefied and returned to the LNG tanks, allowing nearly 100% delivery of the cargo.

This reliquefaction system allows total separation between cargo and engine rooms, paving the way for more efficient propulsion system such as the slow-speed diesel engines installed on these carriers.
