The Ocean Intelligence team is led by John Phillips, who has 24 years' experience in the Maritime Sector and has worked for years in Marine Credit.

Ocean Intelligence was founded in 2005 by Adam Dupre, one of the most experienced people in the industry and a well-known writer and commentator on the sector. Over the years since it was established, the company has grown to a total of twelve analysts based in London, Singapore, New York and Frankfurt.

In addition to our international expertise in the shipping and commodities sectors, we have a particular expertise in the China market, with many years of research experience, Chinese language expertise, plus expanding connections in the Chinese bunker market.

Ocean Intelligence is part of the Petromedia group, along with Bunkerworld, Portworld, and SustainableShipping. It brings a company intelligence and credit reporting facility to an already well established specialist media group, and has grown rapidly in the short time since it was launched in early 2006.

Headquartered in Singapore, Ocean Intelligence is part of the Petromedia Group. To cope with strong demand, we are actively recruiting further staff.
